• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hey, speaking of Iron Butt, I might have already got one - I road all the way to VA in one day.:2thumbs::2thumbs: On my Softail and I don't know why the heck they call it a "soft" tail. My butt was killing me. Hope to plan some road trips in September - you going to TN? We want to go.

HI EVAN

I think you should be proud of what you did to help Steve:2thumbs: I have done things in the past to try to help people, and they were better off than I was. ITS CALLED LIFE:clap:. your a CLASS ACT, and I will be buying some of your products.:doorag:

Evan, it is your business and your choice.

I have never gotten involved in one of these "family disputes" on any online forum, so here is a first.
To all you Yo-Yos who somehow think you are involved in what goes on between a vendor/commercial concern and one of their customers, get a grip.
Sorry to tell you; YOU WERE NOT INVOLVED. The world does not revolve around you.
Glad to tell you; YOU WERE NOT AFFECTED. You can go on with your life as you please - though personally, I wish you would keep your whining off the forum - it is distracting, distasteful and disturbing to those of us who come here for information, ideas and camaraderie.

Evan, all I can say to you is; "Well done! And thanks for doing what I could not." You continue to earn my respect and appreciation for what you give to the Spyder Community - as dysfunctional as we may be from time to time.

Tom

Now you realize I didn't ask Evan for anything, not even a discount for the things he offered to me.

Evan also doesn't know about the 5 people on this site who were trying to buy my mods from behind his back but it looks like that didn't happen.

Evan privately emailed me and said he wanted to do this for me and I was overwhelmed with his generousity.

I was going to announce this to everyone at the BRP event in LA because what he did no one else has ever done for me before.

I am a giver, always have been, always will be, and it was wonderful that Evan did this for me as I rarely get anything as great as this.

I am happy to call him my friend and PISAN!

No one else ever did things like this for you? I thought you said you rarely pay for anything on your other post?:dontknow:

I was going to stay away from this but I just can't. Tom, your post is great. I just deleted all the remarks I had typed in. I just know I was going to offend someone. So I will leave it at this. Evan, you don't have to explain anything. There is nothing wrong with being generous and it will come back to you and not as punishment either. (bite tongue again) Okay, I will quit now, I am gonna get myself in trouble here.

Well - you're right - it wasn't anyone's business---- until someone decided to brag about it various times out here. Strange - all strange.

Let's all shut up and ride!:doorag:

And don't make me break out my photos of me & Steve Jobs !

A biker is riding along a country lane, when a bird flies up in front of him. The biker can't do anything and hits the bird.

As he looks in his rear view mirror, he sees the bird lying in the road.

Being the kind of guy he is, he stops, turns around, picks up the bird and takes it home and puts it in a cage, still in a coma.

When the bird wakes up the following morning, he looks through the bars of the cage and says, "Crap, I must have killed that biker".
