There has been alot of people commenting on Stuntman Steve's saying he got many NMN items from me for his Spyder.
Here's the bottom line:
Many months ago, when Steve was writting about his battles with depression, I read his post and felt sorry and sad for this person who was going through such tough times in his life.
I called Steve and offered to send him some NMN items to help "cheer him up" and maybe take his mind off his depression.
Well, as we talked, I could just hear Steve "light up" when I said we were going to send him some items. He said it "really made his day" hearing this. I felt good inside thinking I may have made a differance in another person's life with a few of our products.
We also talked about the up coming Star Trek movie, and how Steve was going to have a TV interview, with his Spyder profiled in it, about the movie (hence the NCC-1701 Dash Plates). He also told me of other West Coast people and places where he would show off the NMN items on his Spyder.
Since, at the time (this was many months ago), most of the Spyders, Spyder dealers and even our customers for Spyder items lived East of the Mississippi, I thought it might be worthwhile to get some NMN items on the West Coast (on what I thought would be a high profile Spyder).
So, we boxed up the items we made, and sent out a "care package" to a fellow Spyder owner who was having such a difficult time in his life. I also thought of it as being a bit of an "advertising expense" to get some NMN items on a West Coast high profile Spyder.
Now unfortunately, these items did not get installed in time for the Star Trek movie release, and only just now (after all these months) have finally been installed. So inasmuch, I do hope these items will perform their "intended purposes" for everyone.
I hope now that the items are finally on Steve's Spyder, that Steve will start riding his Spyder more, and it will have been a worthwhile adventure for everyone. I hope these items will help Steve finally enjoy his Spyder more, as well as get NMN the desired West Coast exposure.
As they say, "Hindsight is 20/20." If ever I though my being kind, caring, generous and thoughtful of another human being would bring me such stress, and cause problems here for the rest of you, I guess I would never have bothered to "give a damn." :dontknow:
As Lamonster has told me several times regarding all of this: "No good deed goes unpunished" :gaah:
