Stuck in the street! please help

Hi I have a 2010 rss I accidently hit the kill switch while in first gear and now when I try to start the bike it's stuck in 1st gear and won't start can anyone help me

If it is an SE...put your foot on the brake. Then start.

Did you try to move the switch back and forth a couple of times? Maybe you didn't get it pushed all the way.

This happens often and we help them and they never come back to tell us that they are OK.

I hit the kill switch accidentally once while in motion and had to go through the reset procedure (like clearing limp mode) before it would start again
