• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Stuck fog light switch - any tricks, or new switch needed?

Searched forums to no avail...

2015 RTL, fog light switch is stuck in ON position (not a big issue); but the rocker won't come down to off position.

Any tricks? Or new switch needed?

If I need to replace, might as well look into adding USB port in the open space at same time.

Thanks,

Should be able to partially remove from dash & see I’d maybe some obstruction under rocker:dontknow: an wiggles to rocker side to side like maybe damaged? They are diy replaceable couple threads with part numbers & various options. FYI will be dusty under that section of dash-& also leads to the void.

You could try giving it a good douche with electrical contact cleaner. FWIW, the part name is Beam Switch, PN 710002351, $19.49.

Do a quick internet search for, "Carling Actuator Tool". They are about $5. Use one to remove the switch actuator (cap) and see if debris got underneath before replacing the entire switch. The switch is the Carling Contura series.
