• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Street Magic Genesis LED DRL/Fog Light Kit Spy Photos

Can I pre order these fog lights. I love the idea of how you did them. I will be getting a cold air intake so I want to retain my inlets.

Thanks

We are not taking pre-orders as we are still making the final mold.

MM,
How close are we getting?
I plan to get these and some other LED stuff for upgrading my existing lighting. Like to get em all at once.

I was getting ready to call and order the DRL's and now I'm glad I hesitated. I like these much more. I really want lights to help me see at night as well as being seen during the day. These seem to be just the ticket. I just hope they don't cost too much. Some of the driving lights out there are way too much money. I know, if you want to play, you gotta pay but I just can't pay that much. I wish I could see what was on your drawing board so I could start putting some money aside for the great new things you'll be coming out with. Thanks for the great work.

You're probably more than right. I guess part of the thing with yellow was that you could see the color, so you just noticed how far they shined. I do feel they were of benefit in certain conditions, like snow. The yellow didn't seem to reflect back as much. Sort of like wearing amber lenses for shooting. Who knows? The mind has a way of making things that happened in the ancient past seem better, somehow. Ask any fossil. :roflblack:

Legalities aside, red would be best for illuminating through fog, I am afraid. The shorter wavelength isn't refracted nearly as much by the water molecules. It is the reason the lighthouses in notoriously foggy areas (Nubble Light in York Harbor, Maine, for example) have that color behind thier Fresnel lens instead of white so the beam will dissipate less.

Lighthouses are exempt from states' motor vehicle laws, however, as they are not, you know, vehicles--so this doesn't help us at all...

(Stepping off lecture podium now.)

Let us know when these are for sale please.

So MagicMan,
You are gonna post a new thread when these are available aren't you? :)
