• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Strange thing...

I very recently installed the 4.5" risers and today I noticed that to start my '09 SM5 all I need to do is turn the key and press the button on the front of the throttle assembly. IOW, I don't have to press both buttons on the throttle assembly. A short maybe?

Are you saying you turn on the key and press the start button and it starts, Even after you haven't started it after 10/15 minutes?

I turn the key, press M, then press the button on the throttle assembly closest to the driver and it starts. Before, I had to press two buttons simultaniously, the button on the front of the throttle assembly, and the one on the rear of the throttle assembly.

We've never had to press any buttons simultaniously. Just 'M' then start.

on my RS-SE5 the button on the back just turns on the headlights to light up the frunk, has nothing to do with starting the spyder.

That is how the spyder has always started. Never heard of requiring the front light flash button to start.

:roflblack: oooooooops! :opps: When I bought my Spyder...that's what the dealer showed me :roflblack: But I just looked at the owner manual, and I never had to do that to begin with...that's what I call FUNNY!! :roflblack:
