• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

strange cutout issue at 100% throttle.

been trying to figure this out for a few months ( and the longest and coldest winter I can remember), did a oil change that I thought was the issue, after the change with 100% throttle it would not shift with my 2012 se-5 then the second time it would. Thinking the oil was the issue I cleaned out the oil twice checked in hcm and can not find a issue.

It varies the shifting correctly but it is not a the main issue anymore, now with 100% it will bog like the tranny is cutting out so it can shift at 8 grand, and will stay there with the throttle pined until either I let off or it works thru it if it can.

and if I run it at 90% throttle it will work but there will be a hesitation in the throttle. the idle and is fine and starts and works fine otherwise, oil looks good.

I am not sure if it is a injector but I almost ran out gas and I put seafoam in the gas take which made the issue more of a issue, felt like it was running out of gas but it was not.

Clutch/shift solenoid maybe getting weak or sticking a bit not being able to complete the shift at high rpms??

(I REALLY hate to mention this...)
Have you re-checked the oil level in the tank? :dontknow:
We all know how fussy these bikes can be, if they're about six droplets short... :gaah:
Good LUck!

I checked the solenoid's they were clean.

oil was checked and changed 3 times in this mess.

Went thru all the power commander stuff and all the connections were fine.

I can not figure it out, if I am not 100% then I can hear and feel a interment blip in the acceleration.

Curious..!!

when you say 100% throttle are you running into the rev limiter range..?? I see you mention shifting at 8,000 rpms. Not sure how these limiters are set up or if the can fail but still a possibility. If it is the shifting then you would have to have a problem with the selonoids (which you checked) the oil level and/or condition (which changed) so linkage or shift sending unit and lastly the clutch engagement...hope you find the problem and let us know...:dontknow:
