• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I was running out of floor so I thought I would stack the air ride trailer, the RT Limited and the RT-622 trailer.

We just returned form a week in northern Florida followed by a week in Hilton Head. The weather was great, we trailered the bike and put a bit over 1,000 miles riding in the two areas.
When we returned we knew we would storing the bike and trailers for a couples of months. So we wanted to reduce the space everything was going occupy.

Hence....

Well done..!!

but be careful you don't leave too much space or you will be shopping for more toys..!! :roflblack::roflblack:

Cool!

How do you lift the trailer? How many points is it suspended from? I'd be concerned about balance.

I mounted a Racor Heavy Lift from the trusses. Bought these (I now have three on these lifts) via Home Depot online (http://www.homedepot.com/p/Racor-HeavyLift-Storage-Platform-PHL-1R/100464807). They are rated for 250 pounds and the that is the published weight of the RT-622 empty. Beefed up the platform of the lift using 1" steel tubing as I am suspending the trailer by using a combination of a 6' length of of 3/4" steel tubing slid inside a 4' length of tubing, 1" straps hung from each end to the trailer's wheels. The third point of attachment is an axle strap around the middle of the combined tubing and another 1" strap from it to the trailer's tongue. This last strap is tightened enough to keep the trailer level when it is lifted.

I use a 1/2" portable drill to raise and lower the lift. Hopefully this photo will show what I have attempted to explain.

I think all is secure but my wife just doesn't want to look up at it thinking it may jink the lifts security.
