• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Storing my RT-S 622 Trailer

I've purchased the RT-S 622 Trailer and need advice. I live in a townhouse with a garage that just barely accommodates two cars. The "queen" has insisted that her car be parked in the garage. The spyder will also have to be in there too.

With the above said, any ideas on how to store my trailer? I've seen lifts (up to the joists). My ceiling is 10' tall. Perhaps something like a "pull down" system (similar to the old timey beds)?

Has anyone addressed this issue? I know I've seen an earlier thread for a trailer that more or less stood up on its end on its own.

Don't have one, but it looks like the trailer will stand up on its own on the end. If so, throw down a leftover piece of carpet and tip the trailer up on its end.

Can you bolt something to the ceiling that'll hold up the trailer if you lifted it?
I'd rig up a 2x4 framework under a sheet of 5/8" plywood.

Buy yourself 4 of those sportsman's hoists; what they use to raise a deer up for butchering...

Get a couple of your buddies, tie off to each corner of the plywood (through a large eyebolt) and raise it up...

You can buy a electric hoist from ebay, then build a platform to hoist

then do this type of platform

Just be mindful of not over loading the trailer, make sure the hoist can handle the weight

Buy...

... a snow brush for YOUR car, since it's OBVIOUSLY not going into the garage...

Oh, wait, never mind... just saw you're in Florida...

Back the trailer in at an angle and stick it in the corner. Then back the Spyder in at an angle and see if you can make them both work.
