• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Stock bars adjustment

Is it possible to rotate the stock handlebars? I am trying to get the bars to come towards me by about half of an inch. For the distance that I want, I don't think the risers are worth the expense.

'21 RTL everything is bone stock.

I have a 2017 F3T. I installed 1" spacers in the handle bar clamp. This raised the bars by 1/2" and brought the bars closer to me by 3/4".
Cost $17.65 for the bolts and spacers from BoltDepot.com.
PM me for the parts list if needed.

Thanks everyone! Good to know.

I will work on that as soon as we have a day where it's not raining. I am starting to get webbed feet!

Loosen the 4 Allen Head bolts you will be able to rotate the bars to you about 1/2 " . Tighten

The only thing keeping you from additional rotation is a hole in the bars that aligns with a pin in the base of the bar clamp. I would think you could drill an additional hole in a new location and rotate even further.

It would be easier, an cleaner to just remove the pin like I did.

The pin on the bar clamp is preventing me from rotating the bars. It appears that I can either shave off the pin, drill a new hole, or buy a riser kit.

I will be going with the riser kit, I do not feel good about shaving off the pin or drilling new holes.

Thanks for the help everyone!

You will still have a limited up and down rotation with a riser unless you remove the pin.
If you torque to spec - 28 lb/ft - the bar is clamped so tight that it will not move.

I did a Lamont riser a couple of weeks ago for a lady. Works great! Excellent piece of kit; well made, looks great. She’s happy! She had the same problem. Fixed it!
Did the adjustable riser in Washington. Very nice, too!
