• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm recovering slowly. As far as any weekend rideing, looks like weather will put a stop to that. AGAIN.

:gaah::gaah: Don't they realize that we're perfectly willing to let it rain from midnight to 4:00am every night? That seems like it should be enough!

I am NOT singing in the rain!!! So tired of not being able to get out and ryde. Looks like the ride we were supposed to participate in will probably be rained out. Watching the 'ticker' running on the TV, and it's already popping up with severe thunderstorms, which will be headed our way later.

There are a lot of things that Kings and Queens can control, and King Bruiser and Queen Bruisersbaby can't control the weather. So, we will stay in the castle, I guess. :banghead:

One of my favorite plays is Camelot. While stationed in England we went to London's west end and saw it. It was with Richard Harris as King Arthur. There is a song in the play with a line that says it will only rain between midnight and 6:00 a.m.

Well, the weather man was wrong again. Woke up this morning to beautiful Carolina Blue sky. Went for the charity ride. Only three others showed at the starting point. Rode to the ending point, was disappointed to see only about twenty folks. But, there were many rides scheduled for today along with a charity BBQ at one of the local independent bike shops. Bottom line, a bit warm but great riding weather. Now we're under a severe thunderstorm watch.

Just my two cents, whatever that's worth now a days...

1st off, being able to ryde any day is a good day. (Try being 7,201 miles from your Spyder for a year and then we'll talk. :()
2nd, everyone knows that the RT's are the best rig out there. We have more of everything. More room, more passenger space, more storage...just more. :p
3rd, the best color by far is Pure Magnesium Metallic! :ohyea::ohyea::ohyea:
4th, the better half is always right. (Hence the "Better" in better half.) ;)
5th, Can't wait to get home and meet everyone. Either on the road or in person...I just want to ryde!:D

Not home yet...

!!

Welcome Home Bro!! We're almost neighbors.

Thanks Bruiser and your BetterHalf...

I'm still around three weeks out from being home. And as for ryding...well lets just say that I have a bit of a hick-up I have to get over before I can ryde. The Army in it's infinite wisdom decided this year to make 3 wheeled motorcycles required to have an MSF course before we can drive on post. Last year no such requirement. But what they didn't do was provide the 3WBRC for those of us that do ryde, instead they put in the AR that we can take the two wheeled course that is offered or pay out of our own pocket to take a 3 wheeled course. Now that wouldn't be so bad if NC offered a 3 wheeled course. They don't, they are working on having one early next year. I called the local BRP dealership and wouldn't you know it...They NEVER HEARD of a 3WBRC. They sell the fricking machines and they don't even know that the MSF has had a 3WBRC since 2010!!!!!! :banghead::banghead::banghead:

So I can get my license, I can ryde it off post all I want. But I can't drive it onto post and park it at my house until I either take a 2 wheeled course out of my own pocket, or ryde to another state and pay to take a 3WBRC in a state that actually offers one.:gaah:
