I think we will make it home sooner or later, Devl is doing so well on her Spyder we decided to leave Maggie Valley via the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Its been fun, we are now up in Virginia dodging storms getting ready to ride the Skyline Drive.

Had a good time too at the BBQ. Devl won a $50 cert. from Spyderpops and got those heat shields installed. They work great thanks Spyderpops.

Nice to hear she won the Spyderpops gift certificate. Hope you can stay dry or at least drier than we were coming home. I never, ever want to ride in that much rain again.

Well today we rode the Skyline Drive in Virginia.

Started out in fog up in the Blue Ridge Mtn.

A little rain.

and then alot of sun and scenery

beautiful scenery.

Its been a great trip

Devl is getting a real work out on the Spyder.

We just love that road.

Sometimes it seems your going to ride right off the mtn.

Time to hit the Interstate...got into West Virginia (Happy Birthday WV June 20th 1863)

Rode up I-81 to I-70 then to the National Highway I-68

We are spending the night in Cumberland Maryland.

We're about on the same route, but a couple of days behind. Hope to be in Cumberland tomorrow night, but tomorrow's weather is iffy. Enjoyed your pictures on the Parkway. Nancy refuses to take any while we are riding. Much of the time she just closes her eyes if the edge is too close and too empty. nojoke

Just pulled in at home, Cumberland Maryland, Bridgeport Michigan 510 miles feeling hot, tired we rode 2000 miles saw alot of sights, sorry this adventure is over but soon as I get new tires on my Valkyrie I'm sure a new adventure will begin.

Too tired to post pictures now so I'll do it tomorrow.

Didn't get any rain today pulled into garage 8:30 and lightening started now severe weather warnings for our area.

What a great vacation..

Getting ready for our 510 mile ride home. Cumberland Md.

Beautiful National Hwy. I-68

Soon we were in West Virginia.

Heading to Pa.

Pittsburgh Pa traffic is nuts.

I was getting a little stressed so Devl took over.

Heading to Ohio...

Got on the turnpike and hammered it home...
Great trip, this was Devon's first big road trip on her own bike, I see many more in our future.

Glad you and Hotglue made it home safe too...you guys were the highlight of our trip. Seeing Don and Tracy again was a big bonus. Can't wait for InZane XI next month.
