Sixty miles after I had the Steering recall done, my "check Engine" light came on and remains on. I've disconnnected the battery and let it stand awhile hoping that it would reset the ecu? No help - engine light still on. Dealer told me that BRP told them it is because I have an aftermarket pipe on it! .. :dontknow:
Dealer said that I and one other Spyder owner are the only ones who have had problems with the recall and we were the only ones with aftermarket pipes on. She has Micron and I have Remus!!
QUESTONS:
1 .. Anyone else had problem with "check engine" light coming on after the steering recall?
2 .. If so, do you have an aftermarket pipe on????
3 .. Or, do you think that BRP is giving out som BS?! :gaah:
