Stebel Nautilus Airhorn Installation on 2013 RT-S SE5...

With some excellent guidance (wiring in particular!) from GeoffCee's 08-28-2011 post and some reconnaissance on a 2013 RT-S, I've found a great alternate location to mount the Stebel airhorn, that his original post location doesn't permit on the 2013 model. While disassembling/ re-assembling for/from a Tri-Axis handlebar install, I looked high and low trying to find the spot for this little gem (Air Horn) to be located. The spot GeoffCee's post indicates is now populated with various electrical blocks that won't permit the horn's install in that location...
I can elaborate if anyone has an interest in adding this mod to there 2013 RT-S... It's very straightforward and easy to accomplish, particularly with the Frunk removed. It think it may be done otherwise (without Frunk R&R..) but it certainly makes the wiring a breeze to get done however.

By the way... Wow, this horn gets your attention! For the effort involved, you'll be smiling ear to ear with this baby! I promise:yes:

I'm planning on doing the same, but it looks like all of the tupperware at the lights and front spoiler needs to be removed first. Is that correct or is there a short cut? What is required to remove the front spoiler?

Remove, mirror , side panel , and loosen head light(take top 2 bolts out) . You then can move head lights over and top left panel enough to remove old and install new. Had to cut black plastic a little where old one was to install and make a longer bracket .

Just to add if I may..... this was super easy to do! Seibel horn is the same as the Bad Boy from what I have seen.

This is how I did it. NO MAJOR COVER REMOVAL!
You do need to fashion some kind of bracket. I used an old stereo mounting bracket I had laying around. But this will give you the idea.

Also people say the wires are hard to get at. BS... Just realize they are in retainer clips and you can pull them up to just about anywhere you need by pulling them out of those clips!

Anyway while this is not a full how to, it shows you a lot of info "I HOPE".

"Had to cut black plastic..." The left front air air intake shroud? As I explored putting the horn there I found that it would extend below that intake shroud. There is a hole there currently for the OEM horn to "BeeP" through but that hole would need to be enlarged to permit the horn to extend down through it... the space in that left horn cavity wasn't large enough otherwise.
