• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Statistics

Here in Ontario Canada where I just bought my 2016 RT Limited last month (Oct 2016), all I know is that my insurance company specifically said that they DO insure 3-wheeled motorcycles if the 2 wheels are in the front, but DO NOT insure 3-wheeled motorcycles if the 2 wheels are at the back.
They must know some kind of interesting statistic about Spyders.

There's absolutely NO doubt, that the reverse trike configuration handles a whole lot better... nojoke
That was the clear implication by the owner of Motor Trikes in his seminar, "Two in the front, or two in the rear?" that I attended at Wing Ding. When I asked if there was objective data or experience that showed the two in front to be better he said he could tell me, but it would cost me a $100,000!

 Does this mean that you think I'm an idiot?
Oh... I see their point! :opps:

We're not even close, to done yet with that carcass... :D

BACK TO THE SUBJECT BEING DISCUSSED:
The only way to avoid all risk:
Don't ride
Don't drive
Don't climb ladders
Don't walk up or down the stairs
Don't go out into the sunlight
Don't eat fatty foods
Exercise regularly: but not too much!
Avoid stress

 Bull**** to this! :gaah:

Oh and don't forget that while in your home, most accidents occur in the bathroom, don't go there! Use an outhouse, there are fewer accidents there,

Joe

.... every car out there was trying to kill me.....keep that in mind. He said if you can not see the drivers eyes, he can't see you......

And even if you can see the drivers eyes, they still might not be 'seeing' you or even be aware that you are there!!

But they definitely are good Rules to Ride & Stay Alive by!!

I lived in my last house for 44 years, but when I read that most accidents occur withing 25 miles of home, I sold that sucker and moved far, far away!

That was a bit over 5 years ago, and so far, so good.

Surviivibility seems like it would be greater on a spyder, but you still gotta be protected with the right gear.
