• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Are the Fox Shocks that come with the F3's an upgrade or just stock shocks that Fox branded? I was trying to determine if it was worth my effort to sell the F3's stock Fox shocks that I replaced on my F3's with Elka's at 800 miles. Anyone interested in purchasing the pair? They look very clean & functioned well--not sure why I upgraded..

When I had my ST with non adjustable front shocks, I contemplated swapping them out for f3s fox stock shocks - I'm pretty sure they would fit.

I didn't find any take-offs or get around to this, as I traded on an f3s !
 
OP has already changed to Elka, and is wondering whether the old stock fox shocks may suit others.
I put in my bit in case Rs or st owners, who have non adjustable shocks, may like to follow up.
Revalving info is interesting though.
 
Fox F3's shocks

They do have a pair of spanner rings to adjust spring tension. One spanner is for spring tension--the other spanner acts as a lock nut on the 1st spanner. They worked great--I've never been a fan of the "seat of the pants" improved judgement of a new product upgrade. I'm sure very aggressive riding would make some difference to justify the $$ cost.
I really like the HP on the a few of the newer cars like the Camaro ZL1 & Dodge Hellcat---but then I sit inn my SUV driving 40 mph in traffic & question the high HP vehicle value unless it's at a drag strip.

Just what I was looking for. I have 2016 F3T and want to tweak the front shocks. So there are two spanners for the front shocks? Anybody got a part number/size/source for the two wrenches. Appreciate any help here guys.

Harbor Freight or Amazon.com or use a flat edge screw driver with a small hammer. The spanner's are used to set the spring compression--the top spanner sets the spring compression & the 2nd spanner acts as a lock nut to the 1st spanner.
I've never seen any spanner that wouldn't come loose using a big wide flat blade screw driver in the spanner notch & hitting the screwdriver handle with a mallet.
