• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

ST-L Black Current Arrives in Yelm, Washington

Zenagirl

GOS member (Girls On Spyders)
I am very happy to say that my ST-L Black Current arrived home at about 2:30 pm on February 1st. Took my first ride on Saturday, and although it was a chilly 42 degrees we took a nice little ride and she now has about 35 miles on her. :ohyea::ohyea::ohyea::ohyea: 11 of those miles were her test drive miles by the dealership of which I am extremely grateful for. I was really worried about the "wandering" issues that we've been talking alot about lately, but I am very happy to say that I enjoyed my first ride very much. There were a few times when I wobbled a little bit, but I knew that this was due to my inexperience and not due to any problem with the Spyder. Thanks to all of the postings, I knew what to expect and handled it well. I need more practice but did have her up to 50 miles an hour. Needless to say, when I drove into my driveway I could happily tell everyone that I loved it!:yes: I had a fellow in a red pickup give me the :thumbup:!! I am SO going to enjoy my new adventures with my :spyder: and I know we are going to be the best of buddies! Hope all those waiting for their new 2013 :spyder2::spyder2: get them soon!!
My best to everyone! And THANK YOU EVERYONE on this site for all of your encouragement, helpful insites and sharing such a wealth of knowlege and experience!:clap::clap:

New ST Ltd

Congratulations Zenagirl!! I knew you would love it. If you have questions as you do more riding, perhaps wildtexasranger, MMMII, or I can help. We are all now in the ST fraternity! But as you put more miles on your Spyder, we may be asking for your advice! I will be riding my Spyder 90 miles to the dealer on Wednesday for my 600 mile oil change. Can't wait.
