• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ok, in a nut shell, did the Air Flow panels once installed on the ST's, fix the heat issues? Sounds like most are not talking about that issue lately so I would suspect its a thing of the past..

Your thougths?
Rich

I can not talk for others, but the new panels on my 2013 ST-S have eliminated all the heat issues I had.

Panels

I have heard a handful of reports that the panels did not solve all the heat issues on some of the ST's. They sure made a difference in mine.

BRP installed them on my RS and it made a difference, but it's cooling down now so I as most really won't know the truth untill next year when the weather warms back up.

Curious..!!

they have worked for all who have gotten them installed. Thing is you have to be moving. Once stopped in traffic, like all motorized vehicles, the heat builds up unless you have the reverse fan switch. Many be getting it done now or recently and the weather is cooling down. 95* here but east/north much cooler...

My 2013 ST L has definitely gotten cooler around the seat since the new panels have been installed, and can now touch the bolts on left side without burning my fingers. Will have a better feel for it next summer but so far so good.

Can't post on this subject without giving a shout out to Kevin Craig, service manager, at Mancuso North in Houston. Without his help with BRP, I would still be waiting for the new panels. :2thumbs::2thumbs::2thumbs:

Mine was a combination of things including the panels to eliminate the problem.

Temps here from spring to fall are typically from 65 to 105 degs, make sure those that tell you theirs is cured are not just from Canada ...the land of ice and snow. :roflblack:
