• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

ST aftermarket seat

I'm looking for input on ST seats for my wife's 2013 ST. (She is forum phobic so I have to do this for her.) I've searched the seat posts and I am quite familiar with all the major bike seat makers, I've had several on other bikes. Specifically, I want to hear from lady riders around her size, 5'4", 130, meaning she sits a little more forward than the standard seating position. So if any of you smaller riders can tell me what you've done for seats, I appreciate it. She also wants a backrest. Stock seat just isn't working, just as I suspected.

Ultimate seat is a site sponsor and I have the Mid-Rider on my GS/RS and it puts me about 1 inch closer to the handlebars which I like- It is also Very Comfortable!!
The Low-Rider moves you 2 inches closer to the handlebars for shorter riders!
I have sat on a ST and I would get one if I buy a ST in the future.
I think it is the same model as the RS.
This is how mine looks-There Nicer than the picture on the page link!!!

spyderdude, I've heard good things about Kontour but my concern is that if it is same size configuration as stock, it won't move her forward enough and she won't get the benefit of the backrest.

I suspect all the aftermarket choices will be more comfortable but I think she needs to also move forward a little. I know RDL will custom build one and Ultimate offers the low-rider, just want to see what other short riders have discovered.

A custom seat maker like Motorcycledave or Russell Day-Long can build whatever you need...but you would have to use a Utopia or other aftermarket backrest in all likelihood.

Well, we got the Ultimate low rider with rider backrest and she loves it. Much more comfortable for long rides and she also has more confidence in riding. Big improvement.

 Its funny- Once I got the Ultimate on my GS I ride it MORE than the RT?
