There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Squirrel Strike

Early morning ride to work resulted in a left front squirrel strike. Little bugger made it across my lane past the center line, I am slowing up, and he decided to cut back. Bad decision on his part. I clipped him with the inner left front tire, and he bounced down the underside of the machine. (He didn't make it.) No handing issues, and upon inspection when I got to work, there seems to be no damage to the bike.

That will be enough of that! I saw my upcoming weekend trip to Louisville flash before my eyes! But all is good.

Stay cool everyone. Safe rides.

I hit a snake last weekend coming around a corner on one of the mountain roads around here.

No avoiding it, it was big enough to be stretched out across both lanes sunning itself.

Fast squirrel

Those squirrels can be fast little buggers. ;):yikes: >*>
Sorry it didn't make it and glad you and the Spyder are ok.

I have noticed that squirrels pick a lot of mushrooms and eat them. Not sure it is the hallucinogenic mushrooms or not, but you can't trust any squirrels.
They might be on a mushroom trip.

Jesster so sorry about your squirrel encounter, but I am glad you came out on top. Poor Squirrel.
When we Lived in Lehi,Ut. I had 2 big Pine tree and a big Fir tree and a Walnut tree in the front yard. Especially with the Walnut tree I thought it would be squirrel paradise, but no squirrels. Finally one moved into the Fir tree and we enjoyed his antics all summer long.Fall came and colder weather. My wife had gone to the store, and now a little later was taking the kids to something, she goes out starts the car and comes running back in the house screaming the car is making a horrible noise. Fearing the worst I go out and look under the hood, yup no more squirrel,it had gotten caught in the serpentine belt and made a couple trips around the circuit before being spit out in pieces. No more squirrel and none ever returned.

Squirrels are not too bad to hit, but raccoons are another matter. They are big enough to do some real damage to your bike or to kick you into "limp" mode.

I'm thinking that I must be a bit weird.... When I first saw this post, my mind immediately thought of Ray Stevens and his Mississippi Squirrel Revival.....and I might add that this is another of those songs that I can't get out of my mind now.

I think you may have just stuck it in the minds of a lot of us..............:roflblack:

I was wondering if anybody has hit a turtle?

If they have hit a turtle, did it go shooting off into the car in front of you like in the game Mario Kart?
