• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My name is Steve Moore and I am on a cross country spyder ride trying to raise money for people with Parkinson's Disease. As I got closer to Las Vegas, I began to see how fast my rear tire was wearing down. Knowing that Joe and wife Ann from Squared away lived in the area, I sent him a message regarding my tire concern.
Joe called me right away to discuss a solution to my problem. He offered his shop, tools and knowledge of the area for places to get a new tire.
The next day I rode to his place and he and Ann removed my wheel while I sat and drank a very cold glass of water. Then off the the tire shop in his vehicle where I had my new tire mounted. Back to his place and Joe and I remounted my rear wheel.
I can't say enough good things about Joe and Ann. This could not have been done had it not been for them. No one I talked to would take the spyder in on such short notice and change a tire. I would have been stuck in a hotel for several days waiting for a service appointment.
Thanks to Squared Away, I will be on my way to Califonia to continue my journey.

It's funny, I was on the phone today with Joe discussing an issue that I was having with my fender lights, and he told me that he and Ann were on their way home to help you with your tire issue. Those two are a couple of the most awesome humans on the planet. I'm glad they were able to help you.

Our pleasure!

We met Steve at Spyderfest, and he had told us about his epic ride for Parkinson's. We told him then to not hesitate to call if he needed help. I'm glad he did! Our environment is unforgiving; a flat on the side of the road in 115 degree weather could be..........bad. I'm so glad he recognized how quickly his rear tire was wearing, and made the decision to call us. In our shop, with a massive port-a-cool blowing, sipping a cold drink, tire changes are kind of fun!
Fast, too! It was great seeing him again, and seeing what he is able to do, despite Parkinson's! He is an amazing guy! So happy to help him continue his journey. 👍👍👍

Steve, it was great to see you again and I'm glad we were able to get a new tire on your Spyder. You are now one of the lucky ones who got their face washed by Max the German Shepherd! Have a safe trip.

Thanks for sharing positive feedback on good things people do in our lives! So many people only want to post negative experiences.

We were also fortunate to meet Steve at Spyderfest and invited him to stop for a visit on his travels though Iowa. Things all worked out and Steve got to spend the night with us. What a pleasureful evening that we will long remember. Hopefully we will meet again. And for those whom have not had the opportunity, these is always a way to show you care by supporting Parkinson's!
