• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SpyderWolf question..

My son-in-law is just finishing up my wrap (spy-10) from spyderdetailing.com. My question is- is there some type of clear coat (liquid) that you can put over the wrap, which allows it to last longer? I thought I read that on Peter's site.

Also, my daughter and son-in-law made a suggestion to use about 1/2 the wrap. It actually looks much better that way. Will post pics next week.

I found my answer in the Q&A section on Peter's website. But, I'm wondering what product you use, if any, regarding a clear coat or wax.

I'm ordering this today:

It's about 1/2 way down the page.

I was going to wait for a reply from SpyderWolf; but, I haven't noticed him being on here recently.

I have been emailing SpyderWolf for sometime. He hurt his ankle pretty bad 6 or 7 weeks ago and he got to ryde with his father in law a couple of weeks ago. I haven't heard from him in over a week now. It was painful for him to sit at the computer, when he first injured it and I hope he didn't re-injure it. If he did? This might be the reason he hasn't been on SpyderLovers.

Sorry for the late reply on this thread. When I finally got back on here it did not show up in the New Threads for me, so I didn't know about it until PCBeachBum sent me an email message. I then searched for it.

I did not buy any type of protective liquid, clear coat, or any other product for mine. I have waxed it with Eagle1 Nano Wax a few times, but mostly it is cleaned with Original Bike Spirits. The wrap still looks new to this day, to the point when I got the new full fender pieces you could not tell a difference between them and the old ones. That is some high quality paper.

With that being said, I do have a couple of places where a rock or something hit and it took a little chip out of the paper. I know where it is, but most other people don't notice as they all ask where I had it painted. The same thing could happen with paint as well, and I figure it is just part of owning a vehicle.

Let me know how that wash and polish stuff works out for you.
