Spyders in the Smokies

Since there has been very little about this BRP sponsored event coming up in October, there is a question of who is attending? ( http://www.smokymountainspyderrally.com )

I've had reservations in for months as it's the only BRP sponsored event in my area. I have a cabin reserved in a near by campground. I hope to see a lot of y'all there?

I'll be there!! I'm staying in Robbinsville Wednesday night and will be there early Thursday. I could only get a room at Fontana for Thursday night so I'm not sure how long I'll be there.

How do you accommodate the dogs on the bike or do you trailer??

A friend and I are going to meander up on the 21st. He made
resv the other day at Phillips Motel in Robbinsville and got two of the last three rooms they had. Plan on coming home Sat morn. We'll both be on white RT's. I'm old, he's bald! :roflblack:

That may be a blessing. Fontana is nice in my opinion based on previous times we stayed there when Mountain Biking. I say blessing since you may want to stay at NOC and enjoy the ride back and forth each day...

I know it asks who will be there, deviating we will not be there.

That weekend has three great possible events for us. Tandem mountain bike event in PA., Tandem road bike event in FL., and the Spyder event. The queen made her choice. Based on her lower back barometer...she chose to stay near home and continue our attending the road tandem event.

I so wanted to hit Fontana. Bring a Spyder and mountain bike so I could hit some of my favorite trails.

Oh well next year. Hope everyone has fun and maybe see you in Daytona.

built detachable rack for the F3 and put a Airline approved pet carrier on the rack. This pet carrier has been on 3 different Harley's and the 2 dogs have over 50K on the road. My wife carries the other one in a Kuryakyn Pet Palace for the other dog.

We will be Trailering the bike leaving west panhandle Fl on Wed after work spent the night north of Atlanta Ga. then finishing the last 2 hours on Thur. should be there for the first ride.
