• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyders in the Delta

I'm leaving from the Cookeville, TN area on Tuesday, May 13th in the late morning.

Using Interstate 40 it's a little over 5 hours to Bono, AR. Much of I-40 is 70 MPH (about 113 KPH), but I still don't trust the other driver's on the interstate, so I've mapped a route using U.S. Route 70N. Between towns the speed limit on 70N is 55 MPH (about 88 KPH), and each town it passes through sets their own speed limit, and there will also be some traffic lights.

It's a longer and slower route, so I'm stopping overnight in Dyersburg, TN. From Dyersburg it's about 2 hours to Bono, AR on U.S. Route 412.

After the end of the festivities on Saturday night I'll ride the same route in the opposite direction, stopping over again in Dyersburg, TN, and then riding home on Sunday.

Weather.com is forecasting rain and possible thunderstorms on Tuesday, so I'm glad I have a rain suit. I'm also going to pack extra pairs of gloves.

Tina, my F3 buddy, and I plan to be there. We may take the Dorena-Hickman Ferry across. Hope to meet you all.

So when I checked in to the hotel I carried my helmet in with me.
One of the people behind the checkin counter asked if I was on a motorcycle, and what color it was. Before I could answer she said all of her friends wore black helmets and she'd never seen a white motorcycle helmet.

I had parked right outside the front door and pointed it out to her. She left the other person behind the desk and walked out with me to look at it.
She liked it. :D

Nice, nice bikes, so many friendly people, and the biggest powersports dealership I've ever seen. We had a great time.
