spyders fly out the door!!!!

hi i was in coleman powersports in woodbridge today. spyders were fiying out the door, an rts white limited, rts in blue. they've been selling two a week!! Somebody put a deposit on a pure magnesium metallic rts, but I won't say who! LOL . Spoke to the guy who bought the blue rts, there was also a couple there who were looking for their second rts!!!

Yes, it is amazing. A man stopped me to talk about the Spyder at a store parking lot today. He says he's looking to buy one, but he's confused about the models. He was thinking he could get a used one for about half the price of a new one..... I told him good luck. From all the reports I've read here on Spyderlovers, Spyders are holding their resale value and if you want a new one, you'd better get in line! :2thumbs:

Counting mine, the day I bought my RT (5/22/10) they sold 3. One blue A&C RT (mine), one silver RT, and one white RS.

I bought my 2008 GS for $10,000.00 2 months and 2,000 miles ago. I found the original sales receipt among the papers I got with my Spyder and the original owner paid close to $18,000.00, he drove it 3,700 miles and grew tired of it and I gained my new ryde! So, I am here to say that a used deal can be found out there and if you take your time, have cash, hopefully you can get a deal like me...

Thanks James68 for making my purchase of the Can Am so relaxing. Great meeting you and the Mrs. Hopefully we will start a Syder Club here in our part of town.

James68 was right, the Spyder is selling as fast as they can get them out of the box. I met a woman that was purchasing the RSS Alloy Orange Metallic/Matte Black one. She did not have her license yet, but said she would worry about that after she got her Spyer.

Hope to see all of the local Spyder Riders on 30 September 2011 at the Coleman Powers Sport location in Woodbridge, VA for there annual bike rally.

:welcome::congrats: I was at my dealer last week said he sold all his last years models (3 RT's and 1 RS} and sold his 2011 RT's. Had 3 2011 RS left on floor. The :spyder2:'s are selling.:clap::clap::clap:

I feel lucky to have nabbed a new 2009. If I had waited past the end of March, I'd bet I'd have had to pony up for a 2011. I know my dealer sold two others the same week I bought mine.

There were no used deals within 1000 miles of me - I'd been looking for a couple of months and finally gave up and started talking to the dealer.

There are definitely deals out there if you take the time to look. I bought my 09 RS new as a demo with 34 miles on it for $10,800. That was with a 3 year BEST Warranty. I was at the dealer Sunday afternoon and they had sold 4 in the past week...Seems like all the advertising is paying off for BRP.

Glad to see they are selling well. I need to go down there for another oil change. I can't believe I've put 10K miles on mine since I purchased mine last June. Its the fastest commute into the District.

Was the aux tank the same as your setup that was being sent out?

Yep they are a selling like hot cakes! hyea: Jim got in 4 more RTs last week, 2 whites, a blue and a grey. They are all sold except for the blue one. Here is one of the whites going in for assembly. There was another white on the lift finishing up for a Monday delivery and there is still another white in the showroom awaiting the return of it's frunk with a newly installed 4 gal. aux fuel tank. BRP definitely has a hit on their hands with this RT. :2thumbs:
