• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyderpops Bump skid users ?

I'll be ordering one this week (bump skid/no lights). Hoping car ramps will lift it high enough to install.

I installed an original Spyderpops LED bumpskid on my 2014 RT. The "movers" damaged it when we had our goods shipped from AK to AR. Half of the lights no longer worked. Took it to Lamonster Garage for service and other stuff, he fixed the lights for free. Very nice of Lamont to do that.

I have since purchased a new Generation #2, Spyderpops LED Bumpskid for my 2019 F3. Spyderpops says it has been improved and the lights should no longer quit functioning if it gets smacked. It does look more substantial than the original. No mileage experience for now, but it sure looks good to me.

Either way, I am happy with the product. Would recommend it to others.

I parked mine on top of a couple concrete blocks when I put it on. Plenty of room to work under it.

We have installed both and they are very similar. We will not install the lighted ones though as the lights will eventually go out on them.

That is like saying you won't buy tires because they will eventually wear out? :hun:

I know that Spyderpops has replacement sets of lights.

My reasoning for no lights is that being so close to the ground, they are way more susceptible to being damaged by road debris..

I have the Spyderpops lighted ones on my RTL. I had a couple of lights go out within 9 months and I called and asked if there was anything I could do and was told no which I knew but asked anyway. They said I will send you a new set of lights for replacement at no charge.

That's cool. So many LED lights out there are basically throw away. Hell, I have $3 amber strip lights on my frunk lip and they work great.
