• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Every once in a while I notice the sidebar with the statistics for this website.

Probably by the time I finish typing this, spyderlovers.com will have hit

140,000 posts!

That's a lot of quality information--plus, of course, a lot of spirited debate, personal mocking, and good-natured general hilarity.

Thanks Lamont! :doorag: Thanks all you spyderlovers members!

I'm not as chatty as some. But I really appreciate the existence of SpyderLovers.com.

Thank you Lamont and all the people here who make SpyderLovers.com the best Spyder forum!!! :2thumbs:

I'm as chatty as any, and I appreciate it, too. I know we've said it before, but I'll say it again.....Thanks, Lamont!

This site has been sooo helpful, especially now that I have a RT. I really can't imagine living 50 miles from my dealer and having a "new idea" type macine without Lamont, Scotty and all of you. Thanks Lamont.:2thumbs:

Spyderlovers.com is great

I've been following this site for a couple years now and finally bought my SE5 (used) in Sept 09. I'm having a blast riding and fine tuning it. I now study everyone's mods intensely deciding which to do next. It's a great group of critics, supporters, and of course the occasional smart alleck replies to keep us grinning.

My new rack arrived Sat (ebay purchase) and will be installed in the next couple of days. I just need a bigger budget. My wife promises to win the lottery for me but hasn't come thru yet. :( Then I can really go wild.:2thumbs:

Meanwhile, thanks Lamont and everybody!!

I don't even have a Spyder yet and I've already learned a lot from this site. I expect to learn a whole lot more after my RT comes in. I belong to a couple of other forums and the general tone of Spyderlovers.com is just much better than most other forums. Thanks, Lamont. And thanks to all the members that are so helpful and downright friendly.

Everyone who contributes, give yourselves a pat on the back. Its what makes it work by helping each other.

:agree:
I can not contribute the same type of engeneering/mechanical knowlege that some of the members here have. I did find a way to contribute another way. On the home page in the upper right had corner is a long overdue donate button. A very easy way to send a few bucks to support such a great site so we can keep sharing info.
