• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi from a new Ambassador

Most Excellent Choice!!!

Way to go Faran..and a hearty concrats from two dedicated Spyder Ryders... It is great having a little gender mix officially representing the growing army of Spyder lovers...

We both watched your vid and it was our hands down favorite. We are both a little over a year into our Spyder experience and it gets better everytime we pull out of the driveway.

We have identicle RT's with one exception... Kim's has PINK wheels... Hope to see you in Maggie Vally in June... Len & Kim..Oh yes...our Spyder Dawg Shaba

Faran:

Congrats to both you and to Mickey.

I think the choices are great.... moving away from the obvious may give current Spyderlovers and those who may be looking for some new adventure an entirely fresh and different outlook on (y)our pastime.

My wife (on her RT) and me (on my Gold Wing Trike) leave next week on a five day run on the Blue Ridge Parkway from one end to the other.

If we get a chance we will post some photos along the way.

Nancy and I are doing the Blue Ridge Parkway/Skyline Drive ride on the way back from Maggie Valley in June. Enjoy! (We now return you to your regularly scheduled program.)

Congratulations Faran!! I think BRP made a perfect choice. You seem to be well spoken and full of vigor. I'm sure you will make an impact for this wonderfull piece of machinery and the Spyderlovers community as well. Good luck and enjoy the ryde. It would be great to meet you someday but coming from Northern Ontario, I have to admit that the odds are against me. Nonetheless, enjoy your Spyder. You are now a "Rock Star".

SilverFox :2excited:

:congrats: FaranH :welcome:. Like we asked Mickey ,It would be nice to meet you at Cowtown next sat. I Think you'll find a bigger turn out there. So many of us have made vacation time around Cuba so hopefully you can make a short drive up. JC PS. My wife just got here license and loves to drive the :spyder2: she's hooked.

Congrats Faran. You are in for one heck of an experience. Enjoy every moment of this adventure. It will be interesting to read about your first impressions of the Spyder, your first rides and so on. I think you'll find that there is nothing like being in the wind. The sights, the smells, the open road, the feeling of total freedom - it's all out there waiting for you. So go get 'em! :ohyea:
