• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi from a new Ambassador

Welcome to the world of Spyder. A whole new ride (ryde), and, you'll find, a whole new language. You couldn't be connected to a better group of Ryders. Glad to see you connecting with all the right people to get you started. Best of luck on your travels. I cannot think of a better representative of the Spyder than a new rider. And welcome to this forum. You'll connect with some of the best people, and get all the information you'll need (probably more than you can digest) right here. Again, welcome. If you're ever in the Waynesville, Missouri area, give us a buzz (oh, wait...bees buzz. Shoot us a web) we'll meet up somewhere for lunch or dinner. Our treat. Followed by ice cream, of course. :doorag:

Welcome to the world of Spyders, I'm sure you will do a great job. I know you have heard it before but the Rock Star status will amaze you every where you go. These are great machines that are drawing more attention than ever. If there is any way possible try to attend Spyderfest, even if its only for a day trip. We hope and expect this to be the best Spyder event ever. Again:welcome:and:congrats: and I look forward to meeting you.

:congrats: Farah and it's great that you have joined a group like Spyderlovers.com. There is so much friendship and information here it will help you on your new quest. Get ready for the time of your life because the Spyder is going to change things for you. Keep us posted as the process begins !

:congrats: and :welcome: to our world. Do us proud and, if you can, make it to Spyderfest next week:2thumbs:. You can meet a large chunk of the Spyderlovers world.:yes:all at one time.

:welcome: and :congrats:
Looking forward to your adventures being posted. See you in a few weeks. :doorag:

REAL active chapter here in Tyler Doc. Like so many bike groups, they do tremendous philanthropic goodwill. Their twist is that they add a spiritual haven that has ZERO tollerance for judging anyone in the group. Many members are former bike gang tough guys. Many have or had hurts habbits and hangups. Common ground that is safe. Ride together / Pray together. Loads of support.

Could not have described it any better.

Congrats on being selected as a Spyder Ambassador! We need more "girls" on these wonderful machines that have enabled many of us to ride at last without fears, fumbles and fiascos!

Once again, welcome! Hopefully, someday you'll get down Texas way and we'll show you our "backroads"!

Hi Faran - congratulations on being selected! I think you'll be a great ambassador as you experience the joys of ryding.

Be careful though, as the Spyder's bite is highly infectious.... you've already been hooked by it's styling, but once you start ryding, you'll NEVER be the same again. The adrenaline rush, the confident stance and ryde and the "wow - did you see that" (great phrase!) looks you'll get will have you constantly pining for the open road.

I look forward to reading about your Spyder experiences!

:welcome:

Bill

:congrats: Faran and :welcome: my first ride was the Spyder, just shy of 1 year, (may 24th)...if I was able to learn to ride and travel 15,000 miles last year....you can do it too!!!! we love Arkansas roads....next time we are headed that way...I'll let you know....good luck and have fun:yes:

:welcome: :congrats: My grandaughter(7) was watching your video with me when it was announced on this site. After watching it her comment was Perfect Choice. See you on the road.

:congrats: and :welcome: as a mom of three young kids I was still able to ride my :spyder2: 10,000+ miles in my first year. I have know you will have no problem on yours! I love riding in Arkansas it is really pretty. You have a Spyder friend in Texas when you come through!

:welcome:

Soon you will see everything in a new, different way. Hopefully this is your chance to share that new perspective with the world!

Welcome, welcome, welcome!!!! I think it's great that a new Ambassador is going to provide the perspective of someone new to Spydering!!! The Spyder shouldn't just be thought of for older people not wanting to support two wheels anymore. Or, those fearful on two wheels and more comfortable on three. The Spyder needs to be thought of as a GO TO first choice ryde!!! Your travels and blogs will be tremendous encouragement for those completely new to any riding or ryding!

You are obvioulsy well spoken and able to represent yourself very well. I think you are going to be a fabulous representative for BRP and the Spyder Roadster!!

Best of luck in your new adventure. And an ADVENTURE it will be!!!!

:congrats: on winning the contest!!! Hang on and enjoy the RYDE!!!!!
