Spyderlovers Host problems

Is anyone else having problems getting to various parts of SL? I constantly get timeouts and name resolutions failures navigating from section to section, replying to posts, and creating new topics. Sometimes takes several tries before it goes through.

I swear to God I don't work as an IT person but......Did you restart your device ? log out of SL, restart and log back in ? It is worth the try.....:spyder2::spyder2:

What type of Antivirus program do you have?

You might want to run a system scan, just in case if there is a virus lurking in the background. Deanna

Well....

Actually I do have the screen lock up from time to time. I have to shut SL reopen and all my reply will be gone except the title. The I have to redo and then it goes through. I just live with it...:banghead: just like if I try to respond to a post and type below their post the space bar quits....so I reply above their post...:banghead:

Have not been able to get on SL for over a week on my computer with either Chrome or Firefox It times out. Tried with the this Windows computer and made it in.
I am thinking that anyone having the same problem would never see this thread to comment on it.
It stands to reason if you can access this site your not having a problem.

Roger, if you will go to the page where all the forums are listed(just click on "forums") pick the forum you want your new thread to appear in and click on that forum. When that forum opens up you will see in the upper left hand side a button that says "New thread",click on that and a screen will open up that allows you to start a new thread. Be sure to give it a title, then post what you want to say and click the "submit "button at the bottom.

On another note,I REALLY like those floorboards on you RT. They give it and elegant finished look from the side that a regular RT lacks.

Linux is an operating system that so few people use, none of the hackers want to bother putting energy into programming a virus for it. Since the mission of a virus is to create as much havoc and pain as possible. They prefer to write them for those using main stream operating systems like Windows. Not the only reason. But a big one.

I was having the problem with my system but was able to figure it out, I turned out to be a problem with the DNS server, I changed the Server # in Network setting that cleared it up.
Running Linux 17.3
