• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spydergirs's West Coast Gathering

I hope to attend and ryde south along the coast. It's a bit early to firm up plans yet, but ryding together seems like a good idea.

I will be going but will probably trailer my Spyder if I'm going to have any Seal FloorBoards to sell.

Ride in Comfort,

John,
Seal FloorBoards

Anyone hear any updates on this event??

John, there are some terrific tow behind trailers available for the Spyder for under $1,500 delivered, so you could ryde & take product..

My wife, Kathy, and I will be attending the event but as a side-jaunt to an already planned vacation to Monterey, CA. We'll be leaving Portland on Friday, the 29th, checking out the sites in Monterey, and checking into our motel in Arcata Monday night, the 1st. When the festivities in the Redwoods are finished, we'll be heading back down to Monterey to join our friends for the trip back up to Portland. Kathy and I are REALLY looking forward to meeting everyone. Should be a BLAST. :2thumbs::yes::2thumbs: 'Til then.......

I highly recommend 199 from I5 to 101. I also highly recommend the restaurant on the dock in Trinidad (it is NOT a fancy place - just good fish).

My big trip this year is Yellowstone & the Tetons in early September - so this will be a quick trip for me - A total to 3 days tops...

Looks like I'm going down on Wednesday & home on Friday - can't justify tearing a whole work-week apart, for a social gathering…. I'm too excited about my two weeks in Yellowstone!!

We're doing Yellowstone in early September - after the rug rats are back in school….

The trip to Eureka is now set for an 8/1 dinner with Vaughn and Cat in Grants Pass, then down to Eureka on the 2nd. We're going to Bend, then over the southern pass to Grants Pass, just for fun - about a 350 mile day.

I'm only staying the night of the 2nd, and heading back up the coast on the 3rd.

If anyone is interested in joining us - we're leaving NLT 7am from Tualatin - over to Bend, over Crater Lake to Grants Pass. 366 miles, vs 348 down the coast, and (never to be considered) 260 down I 5.

Looking forward to meeting Cat & Vaughn in Grants Pass, and riding to Eureka on the 2nd - that's an easy 170 mile day.

We're only in Eureka for the afternoon/night of the 2nd, than heading North on Wednesday the 3rd.

Two Spyders and a Valk leaving, and two Spyders heading home on the 3rd.
