• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. SpyderGirl's Newest Mods

Whoa, Nellie! I'm thinking there is a story attached to this pic. What's up, girl? Are you just putting a new sway bar on perhaps or are you having alignment issues? I think I am too. My right front tire is wearing on the inside. The left front is perfect. Never noticed it until this evening...

The tires are actually wearing perfectly even and are the original tires with over 31,500 miles. The photo is of the Spyder at the dealer getting the new DPS installed. This photo was taken after the old DPS was taken out and before then new one was put in.

The sway bar is actually going in this Friday. :D

So I got the Corbin fairing back from the body shop today and it turned out really nice. I'm still waiting for the sway bar and the HMF pipe to come in today, but in the meantime here are pictures of Charlotte's new look. :)

How are you liking the way it rides with the fairing? Ive only ridden a few 100 miles with mine- love the way it changes the aerodynamics but still getting use to the look.

Haven't gotten a chance to ride it with the taller windshield, but I like how the fairing keeps the air off my body. As for the look, I didn't like it the first time I saw it on Corbin's website, but then when I saw it in person I liked it a lot more. And then when they made it two-tone I liked it even more than that. I'm happy with the way it looks. It's unique, like me. :D

spydergirl is not done

I know she is installing an HMF exhaust this weekend so i can't wait to see and here it hopefully she takes video even though there is video on you tube. i also ordered the sameone as she did but what i like about it is alot lighter than stock and is only 4-6 dbs louder than stock but i also ordered the quite core which will reduce the dbs by 2-4 good price also $229.00

I am seriously interested in the HMF and want to know if there are any issues with the installation of it. I am tired of having to fix the heat shields on the Hindle. They are back to rattling again and driving me nuts.

I know what you mean i bought the hindle cause i like the smaller size and it sounded good but that louder noise gets old fast and my heatshield is off of it still nicely painted i had larger rivets in it but that did not last long so i figured find something mild and lighter and thats what i found.

I put the HMF pipe on last week. I got it on Ebay for 229.00 and free shipping. The best thing about it was they sent me a carbon fiber pipe instead of the polished aluminum that I ordered. This was a hundred dollar mistake on there part. YEE HAA !!! I will take it. Great pipe. Way louder, (which I wanted for safety and a little bit of head turning attention) and more of a growl than the stock sewing machine sound from the oversized heavy stock one. Only issue was mine was slightly ovaled where you connect it to the spyder pipe so I took it to a muffler shop and they made it round again (no charge). Other than that issue you will need to put the holding clamp (to the frame) on the outside instead of the inside (like the stock one is) or it will hit the frame. Awsome pipe. It is 103 decibals. I saw the video on Utube about that hindle pipe heat shield rattle. I would flip out and go nuts to that company !!! You will like the HMF if you get one, I sure do.

I put the HMF on Friday night and did two rides over the weekend with it on. I like the sound of it, very similar to the Hindle as far as volume. The rattling of the heat shield on the Hindle was most annoying. The hubby put the Hindle on his Spyder instead. So far I am happy with the purchase of the HMF. The throttle response seems to be a little better too, but that could be my imagination.

For the price and the quality, the HMF seems to be a winner in my book.

Cool mine will be here today plus i also added the quite core to it.

Thanks for all of the info on the HMF pipe. I am going to redo the rivets on my Hindle one more time, I don't think I will be able to do it anymore after that anyway, and then will likely switch it out.

Nice job on the pin striping as well.

I need to get some more pics with the HMF pipe installed. I am very happy with the sound. :2thumbs:

I want to make the footpeg stays and handlebar steering cover match the finish of the HMF pipe to finish the look. I also need to get my hitch powder coated black and get a black rear wheel.

And yes, I will get a video but it sounds a lot like the Hindle IMHO.

I like a fool thought i was feeling better and went and installed my hmf exhaust i did take video but i need to be back in bed. After watching several videos of the pipe it sounds louder than stock more throaty than the hindle i don't know if it is louder than the hindle but video it seems way off to compared what it really sounds like.
