• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

this will be my first spyderfest. I will be arriving on 4-26. where do I go first, since I will be arriving before I can check in at the Lampliter?. do I go to the fairgrounds first or to pitbull? I am hauling my spyder in an enclosed trailer. will there be somewhere to park my trailer? I am full of questions. thank you for your replys

Go to PitBull's first.
Then get yourself checked-in at your Hotel...
After that: :yes::yes::yes::yes::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::ohyea::ohyea::ohyea::ohyea::dg1::dg1::dg1::dg1::dg2::dg2::dg2::dg2::riding::riding::riding::riding:

:agree: The MoGang at PitBull's will help direct you to all the fun.

:agree: With aboveX3 first off thats where your regestration packet will be.:firstplace:
As well as just about everyone else arriving, good to meet, not so good on parking:lecturef_smilie:
has been hard on a :spyder2: much less a truck & trailer just a heads up. You may want to try hotel first if you can unload & keep trailer secure, :spyder2: is better suited for the traffic. Also being first timer beware of the diverging diamond intercetions! nojoke I made another thread about them.

You'll get a bag of good stuff from Pitbull when you register. It will tell you what you need to know. From there, follow the crowd....LOL Definitely try to meet some folks. If you get to know some folks it makes it much more fun, and you'll have someone to ride with each day if you choose to skip the guided rides.

YOUR QUESTION

Forget about getting your truck and trailer into PitBull there is no TURN-AROUND ...if you get there early....( 8 AM ) the restaurant next door , you can drive completely around the building ..... I would use Google Map .. Satellite ... and see the entire area around Pitbull and make a decision based on what you see ........ jmho ....... Mike

When you get there: find Mike (BLUEKNIGHT911).
If he mentions the word "Barbecue": do NOT let him out of your sight! nojoke

So so sad when y'all talk about SF, since I hadn't to cancel the reservations and the trip.

:yikes::opps::banghead: Second year in a row.

When you get to Springfield go ahead and take you trailer to the back parking lot at Lamplighter (big lot). Unload your spyder and ride to PitBull, not a lot of parking at Pit Bull..

I'm in agreement with the posts that tell you to drop off the trailer at Lamplighters and then ride your Spyder down to Pitbull. There will eventually be several trailers in the back lot. Spyders coming and going all the time at Pitbull so it is a good place to Spyder watch and start meeting people. Len will have some things on sale and of course there is the showroom to browse after checking in.

When you park your truck and trailer please, please try to take up as little space as possible. So often people take up a bunch of spaces when one or two will do. Parking will be at a premium at the hotels and other venues so double up in a parking space whenever possible.

:D Tell them not to worry: you're buying a herd of goats to take care of it!
You'll be selling goat milk, and feta cheese from your front porch in July... :roflblack:
