• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SpyderFest Registration Online Extended!

SteveMac

MOgang Member & Monster Member,
SpyderLady Linda and I were discussing the deadline tomorrow for online registrations, and we both agreed that we need to extend that for one more week!

So, we will continue to take online registrations through April 7th, to allow more of you time to get registered!

We do have to shut it down at some point and get all of the lists prepared and the goody bags ready to go for all of you, and that takes quite a bit of time.

Anyway, if you haven't registered yet, then please visit
www.spyderfest.com and register today!

Otherwise, we will be prepared to accept everyone's registration at the event itself, and we will be taking Visa/MC as well.

WOW, the time is almost here and we are looking forward to seeing everyone in April!!!

REALLY BAD GUESS

About a month or so ago i started a thread about how many people might go to this year's spyderfest......Boy did I guess low.....This is gonna be one great turnout.....woo woo can't wait.....Mike....:yes::yes::yes::agree::ohyea::thumbup:

Is it possible to pay as you go say for Sat. lunch or do you have to register for the entire Fest to participate? :dontknow: If I make it down I won't get in until Thursday afternoon and I'll be headed back home on Saturday afternoon after lunch. I'm not interested in the goodie bag.

The gift bag has your event t-shirt in it, and a few other things. Basically guy this is it in a nut shell, spyderfest is not cowtown, it's Mogang. It's a huge undertaking this group puts on and the money is crazy, it well over 30,000.00 this year and could push into the 40,000.00 braket, it's a fun event, we all consider ourselves lucky as Mogang members to be part of making this event happen.

This being said against my wishes even the Mogang members register and pay, they and
I know it takes every last dime to pull this off. Not complaining or crying just wanted you guys to know what they do and how much time, money, and effort goes into this thing

Also want to personal thank each and everyone of you....... Which I truly plan on doing. You guys cross the country take off work and spend your money to be part of this with us, and for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart. This event is put on by spyderloves for Spyderlovers, has been since day one and always will be.
I can not say thank you enough to all of you.

I was wondering is the 487 number of SPYDERS or people?

That is the number of people since those who are comming two-up both have to be registered and counted. If it is anything like last year (percentage wise) there will be well over 300 spyders in attendance plus 2-wheelers.

scratch one

please take off one guest, her boss will not allow the time off, a real scrooge.................

Quick Question

I did not want to start another thread so I'm highjacking this one for a second. Does Cowtown have a unloading ramp to get a Spyder off the back of a pick up truck ??? If they do, will that ramp be accessable when Spyderfest is over ???
Just getting my ducks in a row for 2013.

Sorry for highjack :opps:

Registration

Thanks for extending the deadline; Can't access the website from China. Many things on the net are blocked, but I can get to spyderlovers website. I plan to be back in the states before the new deadline. Mike

Randy, not sure about a ramp, but there are plenty of ditches! Just follow Forrest, he has a way of finding them. :roflblack:

You might call Cowtown and ask them. The number is 1-800-258-6898

I don't think most folks have a clue as to the work involved or the out of pocket money it takes to pull off an event like this. I hope in the end it pencils out but I know there is a strong chance it won't and there is a good chance there won't be a forth event if it doesn't pencil out. If folks don't want to help with their wallet I'm sure they will find a way around it, that's just the nature of some folks but we have a really good hearted group here and I hope it works out.

I for one am thankful for your support and all of the MOgang for putting this together.

Yes. You can register at the event. We will have registration tables setup at cowtown. See you then!

But, registration doesn't open until Wednesday morning:banghead:..............Tuesday is still a "work day" for the Mo Gang to get ready for all of you!

For those of you that have never been to spyderfest before, they really put on a superior event and it is well worth the money for registration. We look forward to this more than any of the other events, like Daytona and Octoberfest. Nothing compares to spyderfest it is a lay back event with more friendship than you can ever imagine. Mogang knows how to put one on. Thanks Carol and John from Sunny Florida.
