• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I may be speaking out of turn but from I read the Springfield hotels were selected to be close to all areas used but mainly as a place with enough rooms in a tight location so, you don't have people scattered all around. So, SL took over a block of hotels in one location.

just call me stupid.... i looked at tje SF site again and I see the hotels are in Springfield, not in Ozark

Stadium (Vendor Village) Satellite View

Kevin mentioned how big vendor village will be, and I was playing on Google Earth this morning....check out the size of the parking lot wrapping around the stadium...and the nice long entry road the various rydes will be staged from!

Good morning all,
We reserved a room at the Comfort Inn in Ozark. I see that most of the hotels listed are in Springfield. Is there something else we need to know? The clerk in Ozark didn't seem to know anything about Spydefest.

I can't believe that anyone from the Comfort Inn was clueless as to what is going on with SF2013. We have met most of the counter guys and gals and know all of them by sight. We've also met the owner and they are really excited about us being there. Two of the managers are pregnant and it's possible that one of them might be out for medical reasons, and you dealt with a temp. You are a lucky individual to get a spot at the Comfort Inn this late in time. That 'host' motel sold out in less than five hours once it was announced on SpyderLovers and Spyderfest.com

Look us up when you get there.
