There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. SpyderFest 2011 - Ladies Ride

Looks like the guys have some real work ahead of them to keep up with the popularity of the ladys ryde.........:yikes: hhhhuuuummm so i'm wondering which one of the newly famous rydes will be the biggest???? are the ladies going to win????? will the elaphant triump??? or have we seen anything yet???/:roflblack::roflblack::shemademe_smilie::2excited:

B-b-baby... you ain't seen nuthin yet! :ohyea:

Of course there will be a lot of ladies with their own Spyders who would probably be more than happy to have a co-rider for the day. If it's pretty weather, it would be a shame to not get out in the fresh air for the ride. Since the van will be available for overflow items, two-up would easily be do-able. Looking forward to meeting a bunch of new friends and catching up with old ones!

Absolutely great idea. I am sure some of the ladies would love to be passengers.

Jane, that sounds to me like you plan on being there for sure. Yeah!!! :ohyea: So how's the prognosis looking, are you going to be able to be on a spyder do you think? I am praying for speedy recovery and healing so you can truly ride.

:agree: Also, are you able to put weight on your foot yet?

I'm doing okay - still lots of swelling and now occasional pain that catches me off guard, but all in all still good. Still not able to touch down right foot and probably won't be able to for at least another month - then not sure...I was told might be up to three months before I can start to bear any weight. But I'm still optimistic and hope to make Spyderfest. Today is four weeks since accident and I'm dying to ride - this is the longest in years I've ever gone without riding since we ride year round here. Today is pretty and in 70's and that makes it even harder! The Spyder will definitely be my first ryde since I won't have to put my foot down for it - although I'm going to the Ducati Open House in St. Louis Friday night to view the Diavel which I should be getting within the next couple of weeks. It will be hard having a new bike in the garage and not be able to ride it - but I've started shopping for jackets, helmets, gloves etc. to match it so that takes some of the pain away  - at least for me, not for David!
I dream at night of riding (not kidding) so that helps some - just waiting to make it a reality!
Thanks to all for your kindness - and SethO I think of you everyday as I transfer from the couch to the wheelchair - you have become even more a hero for me as I "roll a mile in your shoes" every day and encounter the obstacles of limited accessibility. Some days are tough and I know that such days are limited for me - thinking of your inner strength to face each day is what keeps me going some days. I look forward to seeing you all soon!

Kinda know what you're going through. Broke one of the balls off the bottom of my tibia. (Not as serious an injury as yours.) Couldn't have an operation to put a pin in and stabilize the break due to other issues. Was is a wheel chair for too long.

Anyhoo... my bone doc is an encyclopedia of little known facts. He said that the hair on the broken leg will grow faster than the regular leg. Its due to the body sending more healing energy to the broken leg.

I took him up on that. Didn't shave the good leg till the cast came off. When the cast came off... lets just say the difference was night and day. Definitely more healing energy was being sent to the broken leg. X-ray tech went and told Doc about my scientific test. He came in and had a look. He then mentioned something about renewed hope that he will be able regrow hair on his balding head. That was a fun day.

Hang in there Jane! We're all pulling for you through prayers and sending good vibes.

Got the countdown of days from your Spyderfest site. :D

With all these sponsors coming in, while us ladies are out lady shopping, looks like there will be a whole lot of man shopping going on too.

It really is awesome that the MoGang has put in so much time to make this event come together! They have all been a pleasure to work with.

Yazz - Alaska! That's way cool. You guys will not doubt have a great time!

We have been planning this for a year. Hubby has family in Alaska which is the real reason we are going up there.

I've gotten a hair cut like yours and LOVE it! It'll be way easier to take care of on the road.

Will remember the scenic over look. Is it the one by St. James? Going to do the run a couple of times for good luck before Spyderfest kicks off.

So much to do, so little time... Wish we could just pack up and head out now.:2excited:
