• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Congratulations Len, Vanessa and Colton (who will make a great big brother!)
From the tone of the last post from Len, do we know that the newest addition will be a boy? For Vanessa's sanity, I thought a little girl who loved "girly" things and shopping instead of wheels and speed would be a good balance. Guess she's had plenty of experience with dealing with the daredevil males in the family, though, so a boy would be good, too. Either way, if it's born during Spyderfest, BRP should guarantee a lifetime wardrobe of Spyder themed clothing.
Seriously, though, Vanessa....we can only guess at how much time and energy you've already put into the Spyderfest events. Please pace yourself and plan to sit back and be pampered by the time the actual weekend rolls around. Sounds like a line of maternity Spyderfest wear is in order since you will be able to advertise the event IN A BIG WAY:shemademe_smilie:

Spyderfest 2011

I cant put in for vacation yet but I plan to be there. Hopefully the wife will come with me, she enjoyed the Chicago trip and I know Cowtown will blow that one away.

Amy and I plan on being there if my 2011 :spyder2: RT Limited arrives in time. Should have it by late March. We live in Quincy, IL so it's only a 3 hour ride down there. Looking forward to the festivites.

Thanks, Rick

If your wanting the number of people on your list on not just Spyders then add AmyJ to the list. She will be riding down from Quincy with me.

Please put my wife, Cindy, and me in as well. With that said I have no idea at this time if I'm gonna have to be in trial. I never know until the last minute. I missed the get together up in Tenn. because of this. I sure would love to make the event though and plan on it barring any unforseen circumstances.

Add Twinkles & myself.:ohyea:

We think preregistration is a great idea:thumbup:

Revitup and Revitup2 will be there

Add us to the Spyderfest list. Unless work gets in the way we should make it.
Shewhoprays

I'm going to try and make it so for now I'll say I'm going to be there:ohyea:

Add Hess and Angel each on their own :spyder2:

Planning to attend Spyderfest 2011: stillriding.
welcome looking forward to having you all with us!:2thumbs: And Joe! We missed you bro!!!

Ron, as an EMT, I have managed to avoid delivering a baby in the rig. I always dreaded those woman in labor calls. I either drove fast or had my partner drive fast to the hospital. One crew we sent out wasn't so lucky recently. They got all the way to the hospital and on the way to labor and delivery, the baby decided to be born in the elevator.

Where I served we couldn't transport if the baby was crowning (unless there were some very critical parameters). So once mom got to that point it was 'SHOW TIME' at home! (or where ever).

I guess I'm glad I did it because now I know I can. But if I never have to do it again, it's fine with me! Give me a burning building or victims trapped in a car wreck any day! That's NO SWEAT! But childbirth! Not my cup of tea!

Now medics! That is an entirely different subject altogether! :yikes:

I'm hoping and planning to be there. I'm having to slowly approach this with the wife. She works that week and is a little resentful of me getting to party with my friends again while she works and babysits 3 dogs. Fingers are crossed!

I'm hoping to be there, too. Kinda in the same fix as Chris PE# 0004. I never know until the last minute if I'm really going to get to go, or if something will get scheduled for me. My wife teaches, and she will not be able to make this one. But I'm really hoping this will work out! :2thumbs:

No worries Vanessa, I have delivered 2 babies already, you will be in good hands :2thumbs:

Baby #2 Congrats!

Just tell her it really isn't all the much fun. That actually, you'd rather not go except that people are counting on you to be there.

So you'll force yourself and do the best you can inspite of all the boaring events, people, etc..... :ohyea:
