• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thanks everyone! What a site that would be! hunders of spyders leading the way...........what a deal:yikes:

 I like it!
I think you've hit on something there.

First name 'Y'
Middle Name Not....

There's got to be a Made for TV documentary in there somewhere!

Hey Doc! Do you 'Deliver'? :yikes:

LOL!!!! I'm glad you are throwing those ideas out now while I still find them funny :). Come the end of April I might not find it so funny:roflblack:
I worked in OB for quite a few years and learned one thing for sure!!! DON'T DROP HIM/HER ON THEIR HEAD!!!!!!!!!!!:roflblack::roflblack: And get out the baseball mitts!! CATCH!!! :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::congrats: :firstplace:

If everything goes as planned PBJ #2 will make his or her appearance around May 16th. Although Mo Lee is trying to convince me that having a baby at SpyderFest would make it a cycle event NO ONE could top.

Of course the health of yourself and the baby must come first, but it would be really cool if he/she decided to make their entry into the world during the Spyderfest activities.

A huge :congrats: to you and Len!

Are there plans to open up a Pre-Registration on line or heck the old fashioned way, mail?

Gargoyle, you bring up a question we have been being asked alot lately. I can see what I can do to set it up for thos who want to preregister. I know there's alot of wise people telling us we need to do, so I guess I can make it happen.

Thanks spyderwolf, and to the rest of the gang! If the baby happens to be born during Spyderfest I promise to work the Spyder name in some how......it would only be fitting, and really cool:thumbup: what a story to be told lol

I delivered 2 during my stint in the Fire Department. Where are those Medics when you need them?!!! :gaah:

I think they stopped at a doughnut shop and waited for me to say the baby had delivered.

Luckily, mom did a great job in both of my events. Baby and mom were fine! Fireman was about ready to pass out! I'm not sure who needed transort more! :helpsmilie:

Ron, as an EMT, I have managed to avoid delivering a baby in the rig. I always dreaded those woman in labor calls. I either drove fast or had my partner drive fast to the hospital. One crew we sent out wasn't so lucky recently. They got all the way to the hospital and on the way to labor and delivery, the baby decided to be born in the elevator.

Len, if you went with that you could even set up a Paypal account for paying for preregistration. That would eliminate people simply saying they were coming but then not showing up after you already were counting on the registration fees. Just a thought.
