Thanks for the reminder.....gonna get on the site now. We'll be trailering down this year again. It just makes things easier and less worrisome. We'll be bringing along some friends who are new to the Spyder.....I told them to have a clean credit card ready to melt....LOL. I believe they're looking for a trailer too.

Where can I get more info on Spyderfest? Where in Springfield is it located? What is the motel/hotels of choice? Are there any planned rides?

Web site for Spyderfest does not offer any information at all. No motel info, no locations for anything given (vendors are where?) -- and no vendor info (who is coming). Rides? Pie Run? Guided rides? Motel/hotel hosts? Past years there was a great facility for vendors - plus there was a nice restaurant on the fair grounds that we enjoyed most every day of Spyderfest. Where is input from the MO Gang? Info from Lamonster?

Right now I'm staying here in the woods of E Texas until better information is provided.

My computer won't let me connect with Pitbull Powersports.
We are coming from St. Louis so no big deal to ride there. Just like having my ducks in a row.........
We are not much for hanging around fair grounds or campsites. We love to ride in structured rides with other bikes. Don't know too much about that area around Springfield. We normally go a little further into Arkansas around Eureka Springs.
If I can get some more info then we can make plans.

Spyderfest is at a new location this year, PitBull has moved. No more fairgrounds. It may even be split between two venues. I find that a bit unclear. Not sure where the vendors will be?? But as mentioned above someone needs to clarify.

just to clarify, this will be at the Bolivar location instead of the Springfield location. is this correct?

It's only the first of January, so I suspect there is a lot of info simply not released yet. From F/B, I gather that there will be various vendors at both Pitbull dealerships. There will also be different events at the two dealerships. Only 2 of the 4 host hotels have been made known, and I believe they are both approaching capacity. Registration gets ya a voucher, and likely some other frills for the duration of the event. It's a few months away and I would suspect that The MoGang will be making some info available shortly.:clap:

It was started by several companies located there which are in the Spyder sales or after-market business. Might also be one of the biggest by now. I've never been so can't say otherwise.

Correction: see SpyderAnn01 post below as to how and when it started. I still believe it has achieved the size and reputation it has is because of the Spyder dealers and after-market vendors located there, which is hard for any other rally to duplicate. That's just an opinion.

that is NOT a stupid question as I had the same?? couldn't find the agenda/schedule of events, etc.
