• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyderdock power draw

Added my new Lamonster Garage Spyderdock a week ago and ran the power directly from the battery with the in line fuse. My question, hopefully Lamont can chime in, is that I notice there is a tiny blue led on the dock that I am assuming signifies power to the unit. Is there any significant power drain from that? If I were to leave the bike for a couple of weeks without using the tender, am I in jeopardy of draining battery?

On on a side note, man I love how clean and functional this new dock is. 10x better than the handlebar ram mount and wires I had running up handlebars previously.

will be an excellent addition for the Spyderfest trip.

I could not find the draw for that style of led. So I made an aggressive guess I think on the high side of 0.2 watts. That is a draw of 17 milliamps. The battery is rated at 21 AH. So I calculate it will drain the battery half way down in 630 hrs or 26 days.

Thank you both

Thank you Lamont, and Billy! I can definitely live with 26 days, lol.

Ps - Loving the iPad mini on the spyderdock, what a GPS!
