Spyder wrecked on Skyway

I was just wondering if anyone on here knows anything about the silver rs that wrecked in Tellico Plains today. We were sitting waiting on them to clean up the accident and saw a silver spyder sitting upside down next to the guardrail. The people at the Harley shop on the Skyway said it was a woman and she was by herself. They said she was sitting up talking to people and seemed to be ok. I am amazed. One of her wheels were torn off and it was pretty mangled. She admitted she looked off for a second and lost control and went up the bank and back across the road to the guardrail. If you know anything about who she is and hows she's doing please let us know. ray:

You can get more speed on the skyway so I think the wrecks are more spectacular. The roads are great but you really need to keep focused on the road, sounds like this gal lost her focus and unfortunately is paying for it now. I hope she's okay and maybe if she's a member here she can fill us in.

I also hope she is okay. Spyders can be fixed, sometimes we can as well but many times the damage is too much to repair.

Gee, sounds like a pretty spectacular wreck. Sure hope the woman is OK. Sometimes these Spyders seem almost too easy to ryde. But, you can't take the handling for granted. Too bad a moment's loss of focus ended so badly. I'm sure the woman is quite shaken from this. Hope this isn't the end of her ryding.

Not far from the Dragon... about a 50 mile run end to end. Nice fast sweepers and elevation. Another must ride road.

Thanks, I have a question I notice you have SM5 and you have RT shocks. Is this correct and is this an advantage?

Rode the Sky way today from end to end and the traffic was light. Asked a few locals about a crash and they said a bike went down yesterday, but it was a cruiser. Couldn't find any more info though.

Wow, I pray she is okay, if she was airlifted that makes you believe she was possibly seriously hurt. I pray for safety for all rider over this holiday weekend and always.

Yes, hopefully she is okay. This just emphasises the fact that you cannot look around and you must pay attention... whether it is on curves, turns, whatever.
