• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder troubles

Took my 2014 RTS Spyder(SE6) into the dealer because the frunk would not latch after opening.
Turns out there is am ignition recall to cover this and another issue of the key not going into the ignition.

We long story short, the tech put it on the computer to check it out after completing the switch replacement.
They are receiving an error code about clutch not working and the tech's or BRP cannot figure it out.

I am at wits end with this since I only have 850 miles on the clock and we are leaving for a week long trip to Arkansas in a week.

Anyone else have this problem?

The ignition switch/frunk cable is now a known issue. Mine is in the shop today to finally replace the cable. It only took two weeks for them to ship the cable second day air here. :roflblack::roflblack:

To access the cable, they have to take the whole front end off. I looked at the set up when they had it all apart a couple weeks ago. There are lots of wires and connections that can get messed up. It is possible your computer glitch is due to forgetting to plug something in or plugging something in wrongly.

These machines are touchy and picky, a small error can light up the computer.

Hope you get the problem solved quickly.

The 2014 is a wonderful machine when all is well.

The clutch is a new wrinkle...
I was talking with Ratttigan_Roger about error codes, and he said that BRP has added a whole slew of new ones just for the clutch engagement and lockup system... :yikes:
Good Luck; please let us know what they find!
