This morning on my way to work, I was crossing a set of double railroad tracks and my Spyder completely shutdown! I cross these tracks on a regular basis and can't figure out what happened. I slowed down like I normally do, pulled in the clutch and then complete silence as I coasted across the tracks in the dark with no lights, nothing!
I turned the key off, back on and got a VSS fault. It wouldn't start. I turned it back off and waited to figure out what I was going to do at 5:30 in the morning.
After several minutes I tried it again. It started up and I continued uneventfully the rest of the way to work.
Anyone have any ideas of what might have caused it?
