• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spent the evening installing Elkas on the front of my RT. Whilst struggling through a couple of hard to reach bolts, it dawned on me that my collection of mods is growing.

Base unit was an RT w/ A&C package

Have added;
BRP foglights,
BRP electronic rear lift,
BRP tow hitch,
Garmin Zumo 660 w/ BRP mount,
"Yol Bolsun" reflective vinyl lettering,
gremlin bell,
Utopia backrest,
mirror mounted LED turn signals,
HMT Brake light,
RT HMT Brake Light Dual Converter Unit,
Elka Shocks (Front)

Are all motorcycles this way? Where is the GA chapter of Spyders Anonymous?

:agree: and I can relate...:helpsmilie:

You are a mod a holic but there is no 12 step program to help you.

Lets see how do you send shocks to the homeless ?

To get a cure you have to really want one.. I haven't met a Mod a holic yet that really wanted to stop.....

I'm working on that! House has been framed and should be ready by the end of the year. Everything we own is in a storage facility in Las Vegas. Heading off tomorrow on leg 2 of our big adventure. North Carolina to visit the grandkids for a few days.

Yes, and classes are starting soon.

Step 1: Make a list of mods you already have
Step 2: Make a list of mods you don't have
Step 3: Buy all the stuff on list made at Step 2
Step 4: Skip remaining steps. You won't have the time anyway because you'll be to busy installing and enjoying all your new mods!

Since there is no cure, you might as well go with it! :ohyea:

Well said!

As a fellow "Modster"; I sympathize with you for the situation that you have found yourself thrust into...
You bought the PERFECT bike, and then proceeded to find ways to make it even MORE perfect...
There is no cure for this affliction...
You will continue to pile up receipts until you find your next project! (Or your Wife kills you!)
So relax and enjoy the ride!! :D
