• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Unfortunately winter is upon us and the Spyder will have to be put in the back garage corner soon. Does anyone know of some time of sliders to put under each tire and slide in to place?

harbor freight

you might try harbor freight for small one wheel dollies. they should be cheap.

Simple dollys from a place called Harbor Frieght. They have a web site if you do not have a store close to you. This store has all sorts of cheap stuff.

spyder sliders

i made my own "SLIDERS" by taking 3 pieces of 3/4 inch plywood and put a lite weight swivel castor wheel in each corner. i purchased the castor wheels at menards or some big box home improvement store. i use a small hydraulice jack and piece of wood to lift each corner of spyder to put each dolly under a wheel. this is very cost effective, works well, easy to move on shop floor. i also do this during oil change to give me more room under spyder, sure helps.

great idea

especially since there really isn't that much weight per wheel:thumbup: i guess it depends on how much work you want to do.
