• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The next Spyder Ryde-In will be in Sierra Vista, Arizona March 29-31, 2019. The venue is the American Legion Post 52 at 12 E Theater Dr, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635.

3 full days of ryding, Friday evening meet 'n greet and Saturday evening dinner-social.

Details will be forthcoming but this should be enough for anyone interested to start making their plans, including hotel reservations.

Presently, I'm soliciting volunteers from local Spyder ryders who would be willing to help plan and guide the rydes. Please PM if you are interested.

Anthony, please post to the events calendar. Thanks.

Shoot! We are heading for Spyders in the Bayou that Sunday. I’m sure it will be a great time!

Sierra Cycles has generously offered to host our Friday night Meet 'n Greet. There will be food and non-alcoholic drinks available. More details later.

They are also holding open Friday and Saturday service appointments exclusively for Ryde-In participants BUT you need to make your reservations no later than March 15th! After that, any open spots will be made available to their regular customers.

This is a great opportunity to have routine maintenance such as oil and filter changes, brake work, tire changes, accessory installations, etc done by one of the best and most cost-effective shops in Arizona! They even do laser alignments.

They will mount non-Kenda tires that you bring to them, or have ordered to be shipped to them. They may also be able to order non-Kenda tires for you to have them install. BUT you will need to call the service department ahead of time to make those arrangements.

IF you are interested in having Sierra Cycles perform any service work for you, please call the Service Manager Jeff Davidson (520)459-2589, identify yourself as being with the Spyder Ryde-In March 29-31 and make arrangements NLT March 15th.

Pete, thanks for the information about Sierra Cycles. I just got off the phone after talking to Jeff. Have an appointment to have brake pads installed. They have no issue with me bringing my own upgraded pads. Jeff told me they are also going to hold oil change seminar and some other stuff. I'm excited..... Jim

Chiricahua National Monument here we come Larry! See you there.

Staying at Sierra Suites just a couple blocks away from Party Central! (1-520-459-4221)

Jack

And if you plan on riding to Chiricahua with Jack, be on time as the Captain will have wheels up on schedule.

Aren't you going to be in Kentucky or Tennessee at that time?

Anyway, you'd be welcome wherever you come from!

Oooooooooops......did another one of those edits without quote thingies.

Close....We are looking at Arkansas for our next destination.

Everything worked A-OK. The only thing is I may have over-committed to activities not knowing the ride schedule and times. Other than that, all is good. Thanks Pete and see you in a couple of weeks..... Jim
