• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder Ryde-In Sept 20-22, 2019. Aztec, NM

Save the dates September 20-22nd, 2019 for our next Southwest Spyder Ryde-In at Aztec, NM. This will be our 1st Ryde-In outside of Arizona, the 1st to be held at a private venue (i.e. not an American Legion Post) and the 1st to be held in the Fall season.

I know September is going to be a full month for Spyder events, with the Northern California and St. George rallies, but those are on different dates, giving folks some choices of Spyder events. For those who have the time and inclination, it's even possible to make a grand circle and hit all 3.

Kent Kramer is spear-heading this Ryde-In and has arranged for great room rates at the Presidential Inn & Suites for an initial block of 30 rooms. Details to follow on the venue and the local accommodations. For now, put it down on your calendar before you forget!

General info and hotel info is at the Facebook page for now https://www.facebook.com/groups/1369778466453469/.

Later in the year, after plans are finalized and registration begins, our website will be the place to get that detailed information, and I'll post an update here to let you know.

Hi, Jack!
Shadow is just a tiny 70# baby!

Quite handsome, and fierce. You know how animals have fight or flight tendencies? Apparently, the Shadow did not get the memo! Fearless, he simply attacks anything he thinks is a threat. He heard fireworks for the first time last night. Other dogs cower; he jumped up and growled and barked! I pity the fool who challenges the Shadow! Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows!

I finally was able to get the online registration form completed for the Aztec, NM Ryde-In September 20-22 (later this month). If you plan to go to this event, please register online using the link https://form.jotform.com/92436283954163

Note that upon registration, you will be directed to the website where all relevant information will be published. I will have this website fully updated by the end of day tomorrow, September 2, including Google Maps and the daily agenda. Meanwhile, please bookmark the website and please be patient!

Kent Kramer is spear-heading this Ryde-In and has arranged for great room rates at the Presidential Inn & Suites if you tell them you're with the Spyder Ryde-In group. Presently, 53 rooms have been booked at the Presidential Inn & Suites in Aztec for this event. If you have not already done so, please make your reservation while there are still rooms left.

Jim, the maps are being finalized. I'll have them and the itinerary done by the end of the week. There's a lot going on behind the scenes as you can imagine and we want to get it right the first time.

There are also several rallies, and Bikefests going on. I would hope the Spyder Community is not one dimensional, but I think many riders participate in a cross section of events. If not, they should.
