• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I, and many other people, had these armrests installed at Spyderfest. Great job, Diamond R Accessories. Our 900 miles back home will be more comfortable with these swing-out armrests!

Question: If I buy the new Ultimate RT seat that is demonstrated at SpyderFest, will we still be able to install the bracket required for the new armrests? Does it matter which seat you have?

Until June

I cannot possibly get to Cowtown before late June early July. Last visit they installed my scuffguards abd backrest. Will these be available at Cowtown?

Shorter

These can be set up differently so that they are a little shorter. The bottom of the swing out can be reversed to drop them lower, but I'm not sure how much lower that makes them. Try contacting Diamond R Accessories to see if they could have an even lower set made for you. They are great to deal with.

Yes, Cowtown will be selling and installing them.

Looks like the way they are made it wouldn't be a problem for them to have a shorter option available.
They are lower than the Corbin's. Someone with Corbin's actually had theses installed and they still fit BELOW the Corbins without removing them so that should give you an idea of their height.

The bracket will still fit under the seat. The brand of seat doesn't matter.

They are somewhat adjustable, but only by about an inch or two. If you want them lower I believe there is a part on the base of the arm that can be switched around to drop the armrests for those wishing a lower position. At least this is what the vendor explained to us when I posed this question to them at Spyderfest.

Very Nice, Indeed

Those Diamond R armrests are so much better than the Corbins.

Now, if someone could just vend me a sweety to put on the back, thereby justifying not only Diamond R's armrests but also the RT-622, now that would be grand.

I noticed the same thing. They need to be shorter or at least be able to adjust the height for vertically challenged riders.
