Spyder RT new Windshield Support ??

Someone posed they had just got a new 2016 Spyder RTE6

It has a new feature which he listed as follows:-

What BRP calls: 708400152 Support (Windshield Support)
and 705007411 Windshield Cap | Model with Package STD
are both black, looks nice.

Anyone have any information on these items, Maybe BRP have added these supports to give more support to the Windshield due to the middle bracket breaking in the past

Color change , the same thing so many are doing with a rattle can.

As stated these are just colour changes for 2016. I am either going to get my silver bracket powder coated or will purchase the new black bracket. About $200 CDN.

Powder coating is roughly $50.00 be sure to put screws into the 4 threaded holes in the front before you take it to the Powder coater and tell them to plug the six holes (for the Cylinders that hold the back) before they powder coat it or you will be re tapping the front and drilling the rear and this is a PITA believe me.

Be sure to tell the powder coater that you want "Satin Black".
