• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder riders in warm weather states.

You might think you have it made living in the warm weather and riding your Spyder all year long.

But check out all the fun your missing out on.

I will say, if I couldn't live where there was snow in the winter, I would for sure live where it was warm twelve months out of the year.

It would stink to have to put up with the cold all winter and not have any snow. Come to think of it, that is exactly what has happened around here the last couple of years. If things don't change it may be time for me to move.

Naw, I'm not missing any fun because I can ride my spyder all year round.:D Besides, I shovelled enough of that crap when I was a kid, however I do miss some snow around Christmas. It could snow the day before and be gone the day after and that would be ok with me. Dale

Throws virtual snowball in direction of Fla. :D Of course, the situation is reversed in July when it's 90% humidity and a billion degrees down there and they can't ride cause it's too hot / humid.

A"Rounder" rides all year long. I think I prefer to ride in very cool weather, 32 or so and pass on the people in the video.
Poler Bear run on New Years Day in southwest Ohio. Last several years
Oldmanzues.

I've been snowmobiling in temps below zero. I have the gear to keep warm but I will not ride my Spyder on salt covered roads.

Video is great but.............It's 75degrees,sunny here on the Treasure Coast and am just setting off for a nice ryde.
When it gets hot &humid in the Summer that's the time to take off to the cool air of the mountains.

Naw, I ride then, too.

Today I was out ryding in mid 70s temps with low humidity, sunny with puffy little clouds and a cool breeze coming off the ocean. Beautiful!

Ditto I did exactly the same 80 miles to the South of you on The Treasure Coast.

How do those 97 degree days with a matching humidity feel when you're 100 miles into a 300 mile day??

I like a little bit of "change" to my seasons!

Hotter in the north

:) When I check the weather channel in the summer, its hotter in the north than here in the Florida Keys. Looks like I not only have the cake but get to eat it to.:2thumbs::ani29::2thumbs:. That may be the reason I have 10000 miles on my spyder and bought it new in April.

Agree, it's rarely ever 97 down here in the summer. 92 is about the norm. Feels much hotter to me when I travel up north in the summer. I had heard down in Key West that it has never hit 100 there. I rode almost every day last summer.

We were in Orlando for a week in July a couple of years' ago... 97 every day with matching humidity...
We had looked at our calendar and thought that it might be nice to try WDW in July since we had never visited there in the summer...
Now we know why!
